This is a river dive in the River Lune, if it's been
raining hard, don't bother unless you're foolhardym
this was immortalisd last year by a divr who was swept
five miles down the river length and was only
retrieved alive by the use of thermal imaging by the
emergency services. Otherwise this is a pleasant dive
with a max depth of 6m, and plenty of trout, eels and
salmon when in season. For this reason you are not
allowed to wear a knif. The usual method is to swim
upstream and drift back down aggain which you can do
three or four times during a dive.
